UGC-NET December Cycle 2020 (May 2021) Postponed Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic!

Keeping the ongoing upheaval caused due to the novel Coronavirus, the National Testing Agency has postponed the UGC National Eligibility Test 2021. This will further push the release of the UGC NET Admit Card 2021. As per the UGC-NET Information Bulletin, “The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions.” To download the hall tickets for NET 2020, you must provide –

  • (a) Application Number and Password
  • (b) Application Number and DOB

How Should You Download UGC NET Admit Card 2021?

Believing that you have successfully submitted the UGC NET application form 2021, all you have to do is to continue with your preparation and wait for the Agency to issue the admission tickets. The hall tickets will be issued by NTA online. Follow the steps to download the NTA UGC-NET 2021 admit card in a hassle-free manner.

  • Visit the official website of University Grant Commission NET – www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage on the centre bottom, click the link ‘Download Admit Card 2020.
  • On the next page, enter your application number and password.
  • There you go! The NTA UGC-NET hall ticket 2020 will display right on the screen.
  • Download it and take a printout.

What Happens When You Fail to Download UGC-NET Call Letter 2021?

If you fail to download the UGC-NET call letter 2021, get in touch with the officials through the HelpLine between 10 am and 5 pm from 15 May to 10 June.

What to Do If Discrepancy Found in Details of the NTA UGC-NET 2021 Hall Ticket?

Check the admit card with the great care and ensure all the details/ particulars are correct. In case, the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) admit card June 2020 has a discrepancy in the particulars, such as unclear signature and photograph, incomplete information, etc., you are suggested to approach the National Testing Agency immediately on the Help Line number between 10 am and 5 pm from 15 May to 10 June.

The Information Bulletin states, “Candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.

Important Documents to be Produced or Carried along with Admit Card to Exam Centre

Entrance to the UGC-NET exam hall is barred without a valid admit card. However, that’s not all. You have got to carry a few more inevitable documents to the centre on the exam day.

  • Admit card
  • One original photo ID (anyone – aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, ration card, aadhaar enrolment number, passport and driving license.)
  • One coloured passport-sized photo (the same photo uploaded while filling the application form)
  • Persons with Disability certificate issued by the Compete Authority (if required)

UGC-NET 2020 December – Some Key Points to Remember

  • Don’t wait for the Authority to send you the admit card by post. The hall tickets will be issued online at the authorised website of UGC-NET.
  • Preserve your card with the utmost care and keep it in great condition for future reference.
  • No duplicate admit card for the NET exam will be issued by the Agency at the exam centres.
  • Ensure that the call letter is spotless and clean.
  • In case the details put are incorrect/ incomplete, you won’t be issued one.
  • Issue of Admit cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.
